I have a licensed student version of AutoCAD 2018, 20, none of which include the Electrical Toolset, which the AutoCAD website claims is now included with the software. This task is assigned from a provided list of problems within the AutoCAD 2018 Textbook, showing the appropriate symbol next to each line, however the corresponding chapter discusses nothing regarding how to add symbols, outside the use of the symbol dropdown from the text editor.

In class, we have not covered downloading and installing additional libraries of symbols, so surely these are items that should already have been downloaded with the software. The problem that I'm running into is the inclusion of basic symbols for power and lighting, that I feel should be included in the AutoCAD software.

I really do have a strong desire to have an in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, but this is very frustrating to not be able to find something. In my searching, I've found people discussing a 'Power and Lighting' tool pallette, however I cannot find where I would be able to add that to my existing pallette ribbon on the side of the workspace.

I am attempting to find symbols for items like a duplex/double receptacle, GFCI receptacles, split wired receptacle, 220/440 receptacle, overall basic power and lighting symbols. For example, if I create an MTEXT field, and click on my Symbols button, it will give me an Electrical Phase symbol, however that is for a single receptacle.
